You can achieve a number of different looks with
the new range from Richard Burbidge. This page
shows you some different ways of fixing. Don't
be afraid to experiment. You can fix some spindles

look, this is especially effective with the wave

to balustrade or as a feature within balustrading.
Available in two designs the panels are designed
to fit into the balustrading rail.
As an alternative Richard Burbidge offer a range
of cedar balustrading. These are produced from
clear grade, kiln dried cedar and sanded to a
fine finish ready to accept stain or water repellent,
if required.

Versatile & Durable
The Richard Burbidge Decking system lets you
decide where you locate your deck, what shape
it will be - raised, stepped or balustraded. The
choice is yours and limited only by your imagination.
The versitality of decking allows you to use
it over a number of different surfaces to achieve
a good looking landscape, decking on steep slopes
offers a practical solution that other methods
can't achieve. You can even add to your deck in
the future without too much difficulty.
Deckboards may be either smooth or grooved the
choice is down to personal taste. Whatever the
design all Richard Burbidge external timber is
pressure treated with CCA and water repellent
which protects the timber against decay, insect
attack and the weather.
Remember, cut deckboards must be treated
with an end seal in order to protect against the
elements. For best results, use Richard Burbidge
End Seal on your cut board ends.
To enhance your deck even more, Deckboards can
be stained using one of a number of products currently
on the market.

Decking
is constructed by fixing a series of boards to
supporting joists which themselves are supported
on the ground by posts or flags. The deck should
allow for airflow through and around the construction.
