Loft Ladder
The Fakro Loft Ladder - consists of three folding
sections and is made from Pine. The ladder provides
easy and safe access to the attic. Upon installation
this space-saving ladder neatly folds away in
to the ceiling. The aesthetically finished lid
does not require any additional decorative finish.
The loft ladder is durable, functional and allows
easy access to the loft.
Types of Loft Ladder
SMART (LWS) - inclusive of an insulated lid in
a beige colour
KOMFORT (LWK) - inclusive of an insulated lid
in white and metal hand rail. Made of the highest
quality timber.
CONSTRUCTION OF
THE LOFT LADDER
1)
The loft ladder comes fitted with an insulated
lid as standard. Both sides of the Komfort lid
are finished with a white paintable colour, whilst
the Smart version is unfinished(the lid should
be painted before use). The lock and metal rod
which is supplied with the ladder allow easy operation
of the opening device.

The installation brackets supplied allow the ladder
to be positioned in the exact position required.

The elements used to operate the opening and closing
of the ladder are designed so as not to restrict
access to the loft.
The mechanism locks the entire ladder in position,
when open, ensuring it is stable for operational
use.
The springs can be adjusted to optimise the momentum
(force) of the lid when it is being opened.
4)
The steps are strengthened by using dovetail joints.
The distance between the steps and the lid is
sufficient to allow safe and comfortable use.
All the steps are milled with anti slip grooves
as an added safety measure.
